The 7th and final episode for the year - We get a few good sessions in at Remarks and skate some mini at Sammy Hanna’s - Actually we’ve been doing those exact events in that order for the last few weeks - it’s a lovellly time of year… So that about wraps it up then - we’ll be back next year with another series of Diaries Downunder and another new project so stay tuned…

Its the 6th edition - following right along from the previous post theres a bit of a session at Coronet Peak after the mountains shut… plus a session on the Heidis Hutt rail up there as well.  Just one to go now before Diaries Downunder is done for the year - Number 5 is just up on nzsnowboard.com now if you hav’nt peeped it already go get er done below otherwise for Epi 6 get er done above…

A week or so ago we had a couple of crazy storms come through which prompted a trip up coronet peak for look - Although it was officially closed we managed to get a ride up in the cat, hiked around for a while and built a ‘lil’ jump under the chair.  Unknown to us the crew up there decided to run the lift for a half hour for staff - Some of the best runs i’ve had all season for sure - Epic snow and the whole mountain untracked - Check out Diaries Downunder Epi 6 in a few days for the footage…All photos Vaughan Brookfield - www.vaughanbrookfield.co.nz   Chers Coronet for the cat ride up…    Dutty and his lawn mower Nick Brown sending a Bak 7     Bit Cheesy really…  Remarks in the background was also ON that day!

Believe it or not this is a teaser for a snowboard film… Obviously directed by Andrew Hardingham himself this little clip had me laughing pretty damn hard! - Probably not the freshest of news this one but its the first time i’ve seen it so according to this blog it’s the latest news…

The good people at oz/nz snowboarding mag have put together this lil website - www.snowboardhub.com.au - It will keep you up to date with all the news and info happening in the Australian/New Zealand snowboard scene and even better you can download ‘the hub’ as an application so it can sit on your desktop - efficient aye… Plus Diaries Downunder can be downloaded here so it must be deace!

Just got sent these hot off the press from Jeremy Thorns (check below) - a few pics from Stylewars at Snowpark that happened last week - I was up there filming another angle for fuel TV and chucked together the footy into a timeline above for your viewing pleasure (Click here for the vid or the Poster Above) - for the more detailed online edits with interviews etc.. check out www.stylewars.co.nz.  Also there will be a longer 10min piece on Fuel TV in the coming weeks.. It was a super laid back comp that was more about shooting photos and video rather than competing itself… dodgy weather took its toll a bit but most nights it cleared up for a sunset shoot on the hip jump which turned out perrrdy swet…
