Method TV Podcast #4 – DVS Day in the park

Thursday, July 26, 2007

Snow Park and DVS turned it well and truly on this Saturday just been at Snow Park and the Wool Shed Bar. DVS were kind enough to help us all get maggot with a $2000 bar tab and compulsary beer bong for all on the podium. Yeaaaaas! Many a happy dero about when the winner, Hamish exclaimed that he was putting 500 of his $1500 winnings on the bar. Yeaaaas! Snow Park, (they are fine bunch) put us up in one of the newly erected apartments. 4 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms and a 42 inch TV.

Mix that with some booze, a beer bong and some drunkards..recipe for carnage, a slurry night and a hazey morning. Pancakes for breakfast and all is fixed. Toni Marsh kooked it again and the sun was shining on Sunday. A few of us went sliding..the rest continued the binge and spectated. Oh yeah, the rail jam on Saturday was pretty dope. Great rails and sausages! Yeassssss! – Nick

Have just uploaded episode 2 for Methodmag.com onto their site and ours. Hynes written a great piece of literature on the episode so will paste below to give you the run down on the haps this week. Made the journey to Dunedin on Wednesday for the rail jam put on by Boardbase and Snowpark it will feature in the next episode of methodmag along with the Electric Quater Pipe Jam which is happening up at Snowpark tomorrow (Saturday). In the mean time check out Episode two…

Putting, pizza, blue skies, beer, skids, skate parks, booze, good times. Another episode completed. The snowmakers have been going balistic up at Snow Park and its shaping up pretty..pretty..pretty nicely. Karl Dunham, Nick Brown, Jeremy Thorns and Jake Koia are in the mix with everything from housetruck travel to Marori hongis covered in this episode that focuses on Queenstrown and the lifestyle that goes with living on the dark side of the Crown Range. The vistas have been incredible in the Southern Lakes region as of late, partly due to the 40 odd cms we have been graced with, making for the ideal backdrop to compliment the fine ale the Woolshed bar turned on for us. After some mellow
sliding on the the box line we visit Winnies for some gourmet morsels, pool and Bounty Hunter (Browner and Jeremy were all over ths one!). So, hit the download link and watch the grease unfold. Thank you and a very good day to you.
