Theres been plenty of slopestyles lately… This one put on by Billabong and MTV… Was madness up at Snowpark last weekend, free vodka whatevers and copious amounts of free beer and food if you could get your hands on it in time at the woolshed afterparty.  The comp was prety epic, many a ten was thrown and the nixon throwdown saw endless backflips while Lupe Fiasco played out front… Unfortunately The alcohol made me forget all about filming the boozin at the afterparty but check out the clip below from the slopestyle and the nixon throwdown…

Good afternoon… This is the pre burton open episode… a bit of riding from practice and prequalifying, we talk to a few people in the comp and ‘set the scene’ so to speak… Crazy winds and weather meant that the finals were cancelled and the halfpipe postponed till tommorrow, so will be up there tomorrow to film that and have another episode done by sun/mon…

On Saturday we cascaded accross to the land of firepois, excuisite doughbin pies, bongo drums, relaxation, dope skatepark, excellent custard squares and place of residence for Will Jackways, Abby Lockhart, Andy Kennerly and most other shred hungry fellows who ride Snowpark NZ.  A dabble on Will and Abby’s lakefront mini ramp, some tramp skating, a couple of beers, a roll around Wanaka Skatepark and a slappy noseslide or two on the concrete block were only a portion of what the mecca that is Wanaka, had to offer.  Chris Blinkhorn showed us some tom foolery on the mini ramp that rivals cheese and crackers…well… almost… he destroyed the rock extension put on the ramp.  An interview with Will on the hidden Gems and general goodness is covered.  Another good day for us and another great episode for you…well actually you be the judge.
