Tukes part from ‘The Cause’.  This maniac is supposedly living it up in the Gold Coast these days, dabbling in a bit of skating and surfing and probably not eating vegetables or drinking water.  Ripped this photo of the young man straight off of matebook… Not sure if Im allowed to do that??… Sums up tukes pretty well I think… ‘happy to be injured’… The last bit of his section you have to see for yourself – defintely worth a watch!

Finally got the a.o.k to post this wee guy.  Diaries Downunder is a web series we’re making this year for TWsnow.com… Should be pridy fun – This one has a bit on the opening of the stash and a session at the Queenstown Skatepark.  Hopefully Ep2 will be at coronet with some freshies, still waiting on the freshies tho… mmm we’ll see…

For those of you interested this is the teaser for the new sandbox movie – ‘All Day Every Day’ - Not really fresh news this but if you hav’nt seen it already then ave a looksy… These guys in my opinion always make the dopest films, might not be the mack dawg level riding but always guarentees an epic soundtrack, creative filming and THE BEST intros.. If you’ve seen last years one you’ll know what im talking about.  Plus theres an occa from over the ditch in this one – Ryan Tiene with plenty of shots in this teaser – always good to see…

  Opened up the archives today and stumbled across this wee beauty – THECAUSE!… Possibly the only copy in existence – made all the way back in 2003 or maybe 2004??.  Anything goes with this movie – ghetto DV cams with rediculous 0.25 death lenses duct taped on and smeared with every type of dirt imaginable.  Edited on a sketchy Dell Laptop with less than adequate specs for editing, a horrible 200gb external that gives you an electric shock everytime you turn it on (just never turn it off) and a budget derived from Nelsons finest.  I’ll be uploading each section one at a time over the next month or so – First is Pope – actually some pretty legit tricks in his part, sw bs flip down a 7 stair aint bad for back in the day… Peep below…Download Pope – The Cause

Last night was one of those many coronet missions – in search for some hammers on a not so new handrail… you may recognise the rail but it has been shifted from the main building to somewhere over the way… Its better now actually – easier to setup, easier to session, picnic tables are a plus.  This mission wasn’t without the usual dramas though – First to go was the generator due to a lack of oil (we think) – ahh sorry forgot to check that one… It was spitting out blue flames for a while there before it chugged out and wasn’t to be started again.  This prompted a little thinking outside the square tho and whatta you know… theres a powerpoint not too far away.  The extension chords only just sufficient to light up the rail again and the session ensued.  This attracted a little attention from a passer-by snowmaker who thought he’d come check it out on his sled and in doing so drove right over the ext. chord and knocked over one of the light stands smashing both bulbs.. an airy silence and he was off in a flash not saying a word.. Surely this was to be the end… outstanding lateral thinking prevailed again – bulbs we’re swapped and juggled between lights before we had one functioning light stand .. Kreemz took the role of ‘the light guy’ and held that thang right above the feature for the rest of the session.  2am finish isn’t too bad for a coros mission of this kind – all and all a success…
